We’re excited to highlight a recent landscape transformation completed for Moxy Chattanooga Downtown. This project focused on a highly visible retail entrance that had long been overlooked due to one major challenge: it receives absolutely no direct sunlight.
Our team approached the space with focus and precision, developing a long-term solution tailored to the site’s unique challenges. The goal was to design and install a vibrant, low-maintenance arrangement that would elevate curb appeal and align with the Moxy’s bold, energetic brand, all while thriving in an exceptionally difficult growing environment.
A Fully Custom Installation
Moxy properties are known for their playful, design-forward aesthetic. Our objective was to echo that spirit through a landscape design that felt full, welcoming, and consistent with the property’s identity, even in the absence of natural sunlight.
This was not a typical refresh. Rather than defaulting to standard flowers or avoiding the space entirely, we built a plan around the unique microclimate of the site.

Zero direct sun exposure
Dense urban hardscape surroundings
Retail-facing frontage with high pedestrian visibility
Need for reliable performance with minimal disruption
Commonly-used event space.
